What is an Example of a Control Panel?

Control panels are graphical interfaces used to manage settings and features. Native applications are commonly used to access control panels. Control panels are also found on the web, where they can be used to manage web applications and infrastructure. Their nature and functionality depends on their purpose. Control panels are commonly provided by web hosting services. Here are some common examples:

cPanel

A control panel can be described as a computer device that performs many functions on a machine. Depending on the function of the machine, a control panel usually includes several types of gauges. A panel may include the system power fluid pressure and pressure of the winch motor, tension of counterbalance circuit, as well as the tension of the jib rotationmotor pressure. You may also find other gauges such as a temperature sensor.

This SSH control panel example shows how to connect to a remote SSH server using a terminal program on your computer. The SSH connection runs on TCP/IP port 22 and replaces older Unix protocols and commands. Telnet and ftp are over 20 years old, and SSH replaced them. The SSH command opens a TCP/IP connection and is compatible with most operating systems. Using SSH is a secure way to manage a remote server.
